Steven Raymond Mecir Jr. 73 of Hazle Twp. passed away February 12th at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.
He was the husband of the former Patricia A. (Delikat) Mecir sharing 50 years of marriage.
Born in Hazleton he was the son of the late Steven R. and Margaret M. (Berta) Mecir.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Drums.
Steven will always be remembered for the devotion he had to his catholic faith, his sense of humor, and how much he cherished and loved his family above all.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was Brother; Lawrence.
Surviving in addition to his wife is Daughters; Tracey, Adrienne, and Kimberly. Brother; Micheal. Sisters; Mary Joan, Christina, and Kathleen. Granddaughters; Jocelyn, Kileigh, Alexandria, Lynzee, and McKenzie.
Friends may call at Good Shepherd Church 87 South Hunter Hwy. Drums on Monday from 9 to 10am.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am.
Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Freeland.
