Joan Nina Berlent, 80 of White Haven, PA was a resident at Mt. City Nursing and Rehabilitation, Hazleton, PA where she passed away on November 30, 2024.
Born in Bronx, NY on November 29, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Dan and Reba (Rubin) Berlent. Before retiring she was a Paralegal and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and sewing for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Robert Cohen, daughters Corri Halpern Wilson (Alex) and Abby Halpern (Nick Brostenant), grandchildren Ariel, Joshua, Jackie, and Zach, and her great-grandchildren Charlie and Ruthie, as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and her former husband Lowell Halpern. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Arlene Reiskind, and her pets Keisha, Flowers, Mr. Katz, Laverne, Shirley, and Beaumont.
