Anna Mae Tokash 89 of Freeland passed away Friday June 27 at Shippensburg Rehabilitation and Health Center.

Born and raised in Freeland she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Lenhart) Kopcho.

She was a devoted catholic and a member of the former St. John’s Nepomucene Church, Freeland where she was a member of the choir and Christian Mothers association and presently a member of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, Freeland.

Anna’s greatest joy was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to raising her children she loved cooking, baking, and spending much time with her great grandchildren. She was a large part of their lives.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her Husband; Robert- 1992. Daughters; Melanie Plavchak and Deborah Baroski. Brother; Robert Kopcho and great grandchild; Jackson Rose also preceded her in death. 

Surviving are Sons; Robert and his wife Joanne- Stephens City Virgina and Joel and his wife Janet- Wylie Texas. 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.  

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 9th 10:30am in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish 898 Centre St. Freeland PA 18224.

Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30am.

Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Freeland.

McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland is in charge of arrangements.
