Leroy Walton 98 of Drifton a guest at Mountain Top Senior Care passed away Thursday December 18 while surrounded by his family.
Born in White Haven on June 1, 1927 he was the son of the late William and Dora (Acker) Walton.
He was an honorably discharged Army Veteran of WWII with the rank of Corporal.
Before retiring he was the groundskeeper for the Coxe Estate and was also a man of many trades.
Leroy loved his wife, family, his neighbors that were always there for him, and taking rides in his truck with his dog Georgie.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was Wife; Margaret. Many brothers and sisters also preceded him in death.
Surviving are his Daughters; Theresa and her husband Richard Wysocki and Linda and her husband David Haraschak. Grandchildren: Erica and her husband Edward Yanac III, Melinda and her husband Daniel Houser, Richard Jr. and Conrad. Great grandchildren; Ian, Natalie, Edward IV, Brooke, Ethen, Owen, Riley, Bradley, Margaret, and Lily.
Services will be celebrated in Freeland Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
