Theresa M. Patrick

Theresa M. Patrick, 85, formerly of Freeland passed away Wednesday September 23 2020

at Fritzingertown Senior Living Community, Drums.

Born in Freeland, She was the daughter of the late Andrew & Mary (Urishen) Sekerak of Kelayres.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Freeland and a graduate of Hazleton

High School the Class of 1953.

In addition to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother, Theresa was

employed in the payroll department of the Genetti’s Grocery Store Chain and later was

Secretary/Treasurer of the family business Freeland Food Mart, Freeland.

She was a member the St. Mary’s B.C. Church Alter & Rosary Society, the Freeland Active

Adult Center, and the Northside Ladies Bowling League at St. Michael’s Lanes, Freeland.

Theresa enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, baking, reading, gardening, attending church and dog sitting for her family.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband George M. Patrick Jr in 2017

with whom she had celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Surviving are her Sons: George M. Patrick 3rd and his wife Patricia of Drums, Brian A. Patrick and

his wife Michele of Conyngham: Daughter Patricia wife of Bruce McClellan of Freeland;

Grandchildren: Jessica McClellan of Freeland, and James Hahn of Bloomsburg and

Great-Granddaughters: Tegan and Piper Hahn.

Private services will be Celebrated at the McNulty Funeral Home, 494 E. Butler Dr. Freeland

with Rev. Scott Boshossian. Burial will follow in Calvery Cemetery.
