Robert T. Kochie

April 12, 1950 - August 24, 2022

Robert T. Kochie 72 of Freeland passed away Wednesday August 24, 2022 in Hazle Twp.

Born in Hazleton he was the son of the late John J. and Helen (Hostrich) Kochie.

He was of Catholic Faith and a 1968 graduate of Freeland High School.

Robert loved his daughter and grandchildren, hunting, fishing, being outdoors, spending time with his friends, going to the VFW, and Tyra’s dog Heidi.

He wrote and was author of the book (This Changing World) that was published.

Surviving are his Daughter; Jennifer and her husband Kevin Sweeney- Catasauqua. Brother; Jack and his wife LeeAnne- Freeland. Granddaughter; Kara. Niece; Tesa. Nephew; Jonathan. Great Nephew; Connor and 23 Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren that call him Pappap with the love of 40 years of his life Thea Tiglio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 10, 10 am in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish 898 Centre St. Freeland.

Friends may call at the church from 9 to 10am on morning of the funeral mass.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
