Robert J. Kisatsky, 81, of Hazle Twp. passed away Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Adam and Helen (Rindock) Kisatsky.He was a member of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann’s Church.Robert was an honorably discharged Army veteran who enjoyed reading histories and biographies, watching Penn State football, the St. Louis Cardinals and golf, and listening to music, especially Elvis and the Beatles.Before retiring, he was a mounter for Bemis, previously St. Regis and Princeton Packaging.He is the last surviving member of his immediate family.Surviving is his wife of 48 years, the former Bernadine Kasarda; his sons Gerald, Chris, and Robert Jr.; and his grandsons William, Michael, and Joseph.
Viewing will take place Saturday, February 6 at 9:30 am in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann’s Church, 898 Centre St., Freeland, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10am.Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Freeland.
