Mary Jane Barna

Mary Jane Barna 84 of White Haven who passed away Wednesday at Geisinger Danville.
Born in White Haven she was the daughter of the late Nicholas Joseph and Mary (Potochney) Grasso.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine catholic church, Freeland.
Before retiring she was a seamstress for Schneider Manufacturing, Allentown.
Mary Jane enjoyed playing on her IPad, texting, puzzles, word games, flowers, praying the rosary, listing to her son Gary playing his saxophone and was an avid Eagles Fan.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her nephew; John Michael Digon.
Surviving is her husband of 65 years Edward Frank Barna to whom she married on October 11, 1952. Son; Gary Barna and his wife Kathleen Duprey. Daughter; Jane Barna. Sisters; Marian DeJohn and Marlene and her husband John Digon. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral will be held Monday 9:30 am from the McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland with Office of Christian Burial 10am in St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church 643 Fern St. Freeland.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 8 to 9:30am.
Rev. Scott Boghossian will celebrate panachida services at 9am.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
