Mary A. Gombeda

September 26, 1933 - April 2, 2023

Mary A. Gombeda, 89 of Freeland died Sunday at Mt. City Hazleton. Born in Freeland on September 26, 1933, she was daughter of the late John & Mary (Husovich) Kanyak.

She was a member of former St. Ann’s Church Freeland
Prior to her retirement she was employed at Penjac, Freeland.

She enjoyed Hallmark movies, flowers, and shopping at the mall with our dad.

Preceding in her death in addition to her parents were her husband of 58 years George Sr., son George Jr. Surviving children son John, daughter s Lisa; Mary Ann and her husband Shawn Dawson Jr., and brothers John and Stephen Kanyak.

Burial to follow at 10:15 AM at St. Mary’s Cemetery Freeland.
