Lawrence P. Corrigan

Lawrence P. Corrigan 87 of Freeland who passed away Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.
Born in Freeland he was the son of the late Patrick and Rose (Kluck) Corrigan.
He was a member of Most Precious Blood Church, Hazleton.
Before retiring he was an assistant manager for the Pa. Liquor control board and was a self employed local delivery man for dry cleaning.
Larry loved his family and having coffee with his friends. He loved college football especially Notre Dame and was a member of the Elks and the Freeland Sons of Erin.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents is his Daughter; Joanna S. Corrigan. Brothers; James, John, and Robert. Sisters, Catherine Nazaruk and Jean and Sister-in-law; Marie DeMichele.
Surviving is his Wife of 54 years the former JoAnn DeMichele. Son; Lawrence P. Jr.- Freeland. Daughter; Kelly Walters and her husband Donald- Freeland. Brothers; Thomas- Easton and Patrick- South Carolina. Sisters; Rose Mary Buchman and Mary Maranki- Freeland. Grandson- Michael and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be celebrated Saturday 11am in Most Precious Blood Church 131 East 4 th St. Hazleton.
Friends may call at the church Saturday from 9:30 to 11am.
Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Freeland.
