Irene R. Schoch

May 5, 1946 - November 13, 2021

Irene R. Schoch 75 of White Haven who passed away Saturday evening surrounded by her family at her home.

Born in White Haven, May 5, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marie (Roof) Mengle.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church White Haven and a 1964 graduate of Foster Twp. High School.

Irene was the secretary for the Kidder Twp. Social Club, VFW Post 6615, and the White Haven Senior Citizens.

She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, traveling with her sister “Tink”, crocheting, and her pets.

Before retiring she was a nurses aid and later in her 33 year career a housekeeper for Weatherwood Carbon County Home and the Mt. Laurel Resort.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her Husband; Franklin “Del”- 1997 and Sister; Darlene “Tink” Beazzo- October 25, 2021.

Surviving are her Sons; Franklin Schoch Jr. and his companion Karen Bresnak and Gerald Schoch and his wife Amanda. Daughters; Irene Croughn and her husband Don and Marie Schoch. Brothers; Robert Mengle, Emil, John, and George Gera. Sister; Donna Christman, Maryanne Gera, and Ann Delese. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be celebrated on Thursday 1pm in Laurel Cemetery, White Haven.
