Helen D. Kochie 104 of Freeland who passed away Saturday at St. Luke’s Pavilion, Hazleton.
She was born in Hollywood Pa. on July 13, 1913 and was a member of former St. John’s Nepoumence church, Freeland and of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann’s Church.
Helen enjoyed dancing and was an avid gardener of flowers, plants, vegetables.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her Husband; John J. Kochie – July 2, 1991 and Brother; Al Hostrich.
Surviving is her Sons; John “Jack” Kochie and his wife Leann and Robert and his wife Cynthia -all of Freeland. Sister-in-Law and lifelong neighbor in Freeland; Mae Kochie. Grandchildren; Jonathan, Tesa, and Jennifer. 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be celebrated Wednesday 9:30 in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann’s church, 898 Centre St. Freeland.
Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:15 until the time of service.
Private burial services will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Freeland.
