George G. Superdock

May 30, 1930 - February 26, 2017

George G. Superdock 86 of Freeland passed away Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.
Born in Freeland he was the son of the late Andrew and Ellen (Kanyak) Superdock.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Freeland.
George was an honorable discharged 20 year veteran of the Air Force who was also retried from the ARA Company as a manager in maintenance and security for airports and other government buildings.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife, cruises, being on the beach, RVing and trapshooting.
Preceding him in death in addition to his was his Son; Robert, Daughter; Mary Superdock, Brother; William.
Surviving is his Wife of 46 the former Barbara Anderson, Sons; William and his wife Lenore-TN, Richard and his wife Cassie- NY, and Samuel and his wife Kim of Texas.    Daughter; Carol Valk and her husband Ken- Texas. Brother; David and his wife Elaine of Pennsylvania. Many grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 10am in St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 643 Fern St. Freeland.
Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland on Thursday evening from 5 to 7 pm. There will be no Friday morning calling hours at the funeral home.
Parastas will be celebrated Thursday evening.
