Francis W. Pahler

Francis W. Pahler 80 of Freeland passed away on Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.
Born in Mt. Top he was the son of the late Frank and Ethel (Judge) Pahler.
He was a long time member of St. John Bosco, Conyngham where he was a longtime Eucharistic minister along with his wife Adeline now a member of St. Jude’s Church, Mt. Top.
Before retiring he was a driver for DB Whitebread and Sons Trucking, Sugarloaf.
He loved his grandchildren, muscle cars, NASCAR, Football, his St. Bernard; Duncan, and being a volunteer at the Valley Food Pantry.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was his Sisters; Geraldine Pahler and Gloria Whitebread.
Surviving is his wife of 47 ½ years the former Adeline Pastina. Son; Francis A. Idaho. Daughter; Missy and her husband Larry- Freeland. Brother; Frank and his wife Sherry- Allentown. Grandchildren; Larry Jr. and Nathan and Blake, Lindsey, and Jace.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral will be held Wednesday 9:30am from the McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland with Mass of Christian Burial 10 am in St. Jude’s Parish 420 South Mtn. Blvd. Mt. Top.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8pm.
Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover.
