Elaine L. Romanic 87 passed away Tuesday August 22 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.
Born in Freeland she was the daughter of the late Guy and Elizabeth (Johnson) Frey.
She was a 1953 graduate of Freeland High School.
Before retiring she was employed by RCA-Mt. Top and the Dial Corporation- Hazleton.
Elaine was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan as well as a Golden State Warriors fan.
She loved spending time with her family and friends during the holidays, traveling to Boston with her daughter Donna , Cape Cod with her granddaughters, Texas with Diane to see the Dallas Cowboys, country music, bingo, going to the casino, concerts to see Kenny Chesney, Mohegan Sun arena to see Jeff Dunham.
Elaine enjoyed spending time with her dogs watching game shows, funny home videos, old movies, NFL, and to see Golden State’s Stef Curry play.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was Husband; Mark, infant son; Mark, Sister; Ethel, Brothers; Richard and Paul, and great grandson; Damian in 2018.
Surviving are Daughters; Donna Malek, Diane Tiglio and her longtime companion, Sergio Soldaini, 2 granddaughters; Dawn Cragle and Danielle Watkins and her husband Scott, 6 great grandchildren; Zack, Tyler, Adrian, Jay, Gabe, and Hailey. 2 great great grandchildren; Sky and Lincoln. Niece and best friend which she spoke to everyday JoAnn McCarthy, Christine and her husband Tom Gasper. Nephew-Rick Frey. Great nephew; John Strizak and family. Great nieces; Jennifer Bruno and family, and Jessy Dolinsky and family.
Friends may call at the McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland on Tuesday August 29th from 6 to 8pm.
Burial will be at a later date in St. John’s Evangelical Cemetery, St. John’s.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
