Don H. Anthony 67 of Weatherly passed away suddenly on January 10th 2021 at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Don was a wonderful husband, father,Pop-Pop <grandfather>, friend and coworker.

He was a longtime skillful and dedicated heavy equipment and shovel operator for the coal industry. He was employed by Beltrami Industries, Hazleton Shaft Corporation and

recently at Atlantic Carbon Group.

In addition to his many successes, Don was and avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his father George, stepmother Gladys, brother Tom and loving pet Tess.

Surviving are his loving wife of 28 years Elizabeth (Kanyak) Anthony, mother Marion (Solt)  Anthony Zipp-Mansfield, son Don Junior and his wife Katie and his precious

granddaughter Grace – Mansfield.

Also surviving are his sisters Shirley Keifer and husband Ernie – Philadelphia, Nancy Reeder and husband Craig – California,  Brenda Sosar – Freeland, LeAnne Sarson and

husband Kenny- Bethlehem, brother Jimmy and wife Michele- Florida and brother-in-law Joseph Kanyak- Highland.

Don will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his beloved pets Riley and Addy.

Services will be held Saturday January 23rd 2021 at 11:00 AM at McNulty Funeral Home.

Due to Covid restrictions, only  family and close friends may pay their respects from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
