Catherine R. Wargo 87 formally of McAdoo a guest at St. Luke’s Manor, Hazleton passed away Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Born in Lofty Pa. on June 1, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine Erwin.
She was a Christian who attended Christ Reformed United Church of Christ in McAdoo and prayed daily to the Blessed Mother never losing her faith in God.
Catherine was employed for what is now know as PSI Custom Corrugated Boxes and Displays, McAdoo and later was a homemaker.
She enjoyed bingo, watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, and watching QVC.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents is her Husband John Wargo. Son; John “Yonko” Wargo, Sisters; Dorothy Giltner, Lucille Chaya, and her younger sister Ester.
Surviving is her Son; Ronald and Catherine’s granddaughter Rachel both of Sacramento CA. Sisters; Alice Granda -McAdoo, Julianne Patton- North Wales Pa.   Brothers in Law; Charles Patton- North Wales Pa. and John Chaya- Drums also surviving is her Niece and caregiver; Linda Quigley and caregiver; Robert “Bobby” Honis both of McAdoo. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral will be held Friday morning 10:30am from the McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland.
Rev. Russell Campbell will celebrate services 10am at the funeral home.
Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8pm and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30am.
Burial will follow in Mt. Laurel Cemetery, Hazleton.   
She will be sadly missed by all who love her.
