In Loving Memory of

Catherine A. (Bradish) Kleitz, aged 98, was called home on September 17, 2023. She has departed from this world, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Born on October 28, 1924 in Freeland PA, Catherine was the daughter of John and Anna (Polachak) Bradish. She joins her beloved husband, John Kleitz Jr and daughter Lorraine Kleitz in heaven. Surviving Catherine are her daughter, Karen Tray, grandsons Kevin and Tim Tray, great grandsons Logan and Austin Tray, siblings Leanne Domshick and Nicholas Bradish, and many other nieces, nephews and cousins and friends whom she loved and who will all carry her memory in their hearts forever.
Catherine graduated from Foster Township High School and the McCann School of Business. She took great pride in her work as a supervisor in the manufacturing industry at Freeland Shirt Factory, Tungsal and AC&F. She then worked in Administration at Hazleton State General Hospital, later Hazleton General Hospital, for 32 years, serving as Secretary of the HSGH Credit Union and Code Officer of the HSGH Women’s Auxiliary. Catherine was very well known and respected during her time there. She was also a member of the Hazleton State General Hospital Retirees. Following her retirement, her family was the center of her world and she loved spending her free time with them.
Catherine belonged to St Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Freeland and her love and devotion to our Lord was driven by her strong faith. She was also a member of the Holy Rosary Society.
A viewing to celebrate Catherine’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at McNulty Funeral Home, 494 E Butler Dr, Freeland, PA, immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 643 Fern St, Freeland, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church.
Catherine’s departure leaves a void in our lives, but we take comfort in the knowledge that her spirit lives on in the memories we shared and the love she spread. May she rest in eternal peace, forever remembered, forever cherished.
