Beatrice V. Schmeer 78 of Freeland who died Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton she was the daughter of the late Howard and Beatrice (Hagenbach) Schmeer.
Before retiring she was employed by Tonsol-Hazleton and the White Haven Center.
Beatrice was Freeland High School graduate and an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles Fan and a past member of the Freeland Northside Ladies Bowling League.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her Twin Sister; Bernice Novotnak. Sisters; Edith Richards and June Kessell. Brother; Harold Schmeer. Step Sister; Helen Cowie and Step Brother; Mervin Schmeer.
Surviving is her Sister; Leone McClellan- Freeland and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be celebrated 2pm Saturday December 17 in Freeland Presbyterian Church 625 Front St. Freeland. Rev. Glen Hueholt and Rev. Thomas MacAdam will officiate.
Private burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Weatherly.
