Agnes L. "Aggie" Ferreira

June 20, 1931 - December 1, 2023

Agnes “Aggie” Louise (Johnson) Ferreira 92 formerly of Freeland a guest at The Laurel’s, Hazleton where she passed away Friday December 1, 2023.
Born in Freeland on June 20, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Ward) Johnson.
A member of the former St. Ann’s Church and Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, Freeland where she was a faithful catholic who loved religion.
Aggie loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and Bingo.
Before retiring she was employed by the former RCA Mt. Top and a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone and the White Haven Center.
Aggie was one of seven children preceding her in death in addition to her parents was Husband; Joseph 2009. Brothers; Tom and Joseph and Sisters; Mary, Grace, Ursula, and Theresa.
Surviving are Sons; Tony and Joe and his wife Sally. Grandchildren; Jaclyn, Anthony, Andrea and her husband Tyler, and David and his wife Jennifer. Great grandchildren; Isabella, Alexandra, Avery, Finley, Gianna, and Beau. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 5 at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception 898 Centre St. Freeland.
Friends may call at the church Tuesday morning from 9 to 10 am.
Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Freeland.
