Kathleen T. Chapman 67 of Freeland who passed away October 10 in Hazleton while surrounded by her family.
Born in Philadelphia on May 1,1958 she was the daughter of the late Joseph Francis and Florence (Moore) Newell.
Kathy was a hairdresser.
She was patient, kind, crafty, talented, articulated, and creative women. Kath was and a great nurturer, who enjoyed, jewelry, music, painting, and smoking.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was Daughter; Kathy.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years Gerard. Sons; Sean Simon and his wife Shelby, Charles Joseph Chapman, Joseph Pearl Chapman, William Hiram Chapman, and Thomas Daniel Branch – Chapman. Daughter; Rachael DeLa Cruz, Colleen Simon, and Amanda Lynn Chapman. Brother; Joseph and Jerry Newell. Sisters; Theresa Guinan and Florence Newell. Grandchildren; Josiah DeLa Cruz, Isabella DeLa Cruz, Anthony DeLa Cruz, Ellianna Liranzo, Kevin Chapman, Noah Campomizzi – Simon, Sebastian Fitz, Lilia Chapman. Many Nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish 898 Centre St. Freeland on Saturday October 18 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. 10:30 Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Burial will be private.
