Stella R. Samsel

April 27, 1924 - August 16, 2022

Stella R. Samsel 98 formally of Freeland a guest at Mt. Top Nursing and Rehabilitation where she passed away August 16, 2022.
Born in Freeland she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Frances (Amentler) Giamparaco.
She was a member of the former St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church and a member of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish, Freeland.
Stella was an excellent seamstress who loved her grandchildren, crafts, cooking, and decorating.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her Husband; Edward F. 2000. Brother; Angelo. Sisters; Theresa Sandora and Rose Gallagher.
She is last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are her daughter; JoAnn M. Oressie-Freeland. Grandchildren; Pam Reed and John E. Oressie Great Grandchildren; Jacob, James, and Madison. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday 10 am in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish, 898 Centre St. Freeland.
Friends may call at the church Saturday from 9:30 to 10am.
Burial will be Tuesday 10am in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Freeland.
