Stanley T. Potosky 84 formally of Freeland a guest at Berwick Retirement Village died Saturday at the Retirement Village.
Born in Highland he was the son of the late Stanley and Helen (Sweet) Potosky Sr.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann’s Church, Freeland.
Stanley was employed as a bartender at the VFW Post 5010 and was a projectionist with his good friend Tom Landers at the former Refowich Movie Theater in Freeland and was the star in the “Tears for Tomorrow” movie that was filmed in Freeland.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was his Brother; Joseph.
Surviving is his Sisters; Mary Jane Sacco- Berwick, Pauline Stewart- North Carolina, and Johanna Long -Tennessee, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning 9:30am in Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann’s Church 898 Centre St. Freeland.
Friends may call at the church Wednesday from 9 to 9:30am.
Burial will follow in St. Casimir’s cemetery, Freeland.
