On the morning of Wednesday, September 29, Robert “Wilbur” Williams passed away peacefully at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

He was born in Hazleton, PA on February 11, 1967 to Anna Mae Williams (Kukowski) and George S. Williams.

Wilbur was married to Stephanie (Blasko) and just celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary in August.

He was a loving, funny and generous family man who enjoyed cheering his children on when they played sports or celebrating their achievements and milestones. He loved spending time at home with his family and two dogs, Comet and Jake.

Wilbur was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and you could find him watching them play each week during the season, hoping they would make it to the Super Bowl. Wilbur had a love for all sports, and especially enjoyed coaching kids, including his own children, when he had the opportunity.

His newest pride and joy was his grandson, Logan, born in June of this year.  He looked forward to any time he was able to visit him or see him via FaceTime.

Wilbur was known for his outgoing, happy personality and his ability to befriend anyone.

He will be missed by many, but remembered by all, for the wonderful man he was.

Robert is survived by his parents, George and Anna Mae Williams (Kukowski), his sister, Charlene Williams, his wife, Stephanie Williams (Blasko), their son, Kyle Williams, daughter, Lauren Havrilla (Williams) and spouse Neil Havrilla, and grandson, Logan Havrilla.

Friends and relatives can pay their respects on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 9:00AM-11:00AM at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann’s Church 898 Centre St. Freeland with Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 11:00AM.

Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Freeland.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Freeland YMCA, PO Box 6, Freeland, PA 18224.

McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland is in charge of arrangements.
