Mary P. McDermott 91 of Freeland a guest at Fritzingertown Senior Living, Drums where she passed away Saturday May 18.

Born in May 2, 1933 Jeddo she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Yalch) Bellas.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish, Freeland.

Before retiring from Sargent Art as a packer she was also employed by the former RCA, Mt. Top and Tunsol, Weatherly as an assembler.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was Husband; James McDermott 2023.  Brothers; John and Joseph and Sisters; Margaret Bellas, Betty Sanzi, Helen Miskin and Mary Noga.

Surviving are Son; James and his wife Anna. Daughter; Donna and Tom LaPorte and Sharon and Bobby Baran. Grandchildren; Tiffany Sallemi and her husband Chris, Jimmy, Taylor, Mariah Lowder and her husband Trey, Allie, Corey and his wife Amanda, and Kailea. Great Grandchildren; Chase, Gracie, Edie and Shepherd James.

Friends may call at Immaculate Conception parish 898 Centre St. Freeland on Wednesday at 9:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am.

Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Freeland.
