Marian Detweiler

August 21, 1933 - May 7, 2022

Marian J. Detweiler, 88, of White Haven passed away Saturday suddenly at her home. She was a resident of White Haven most of her life.

She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, White Haven. She was employed at New West Wreath Factory, Freeland and American Cigar, Mountaintop.

 

She enjoyed going to casinos; especially Atlantic City, along with crossword puzzles, bingo and spending time with her family.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband Allen Detweiler Sr, siblings Ronald Mensinger, Jeanette Carter, Eugene Mensinger, Barbara Perhonitch and grandson Michael Detweiler.

 

Surviving are her sons Allen Jr and wife Bonnie, White Haven; David Sr and wife Alice, Bloomsburg; Larry and wife Mary, Sellersville. Grandchildren, Allen III and wife Erica Detweiler; Ryan and wife Jennifer Detweiler; Joshua and wife Aimee Detweiler; David Jr, Ashley,

Drew and wife Casandra Detweiler; Lauren and husband David Wilson and Alyssa Detweiler.

Siblings Byron Mensinger, Bloomsburg; Geary and wife Becky Gueiss, Freeland; 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Friends and Relatives can call from 10-11am Tuesday, prior to the services at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Laurel Cemetery, White Haven.
