Linda Polashenski

July 18, 1949 - July 5, 2022

Linda (Lynn) Marie Polashenski of Mountaintop sadly passed away peacefully on July 5th 2022 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.  She was born on July 18th, 1949 in Newark, NJ, the daughter of Victor Kujat and Marie Carew and step-daughter of George Kujat.

 

She is survived by her husband Henry, son Michael Mikula and wife Lisa, her daughter Tracy Glaser and husband Christopher, siblings John Kujat, Carol Sency, Madeline Kowalski, Victor Kujat (deceased), Deborah Audikimow, and George Kujat.  Lynn was the proud grandmother to Justin and Jocelyn Mikula, Carly and Cali Glaser, along with being a great-grandmother to Aria and Ava James.

 

Lynn worked at RCA in Mountaintop for almost 15 years.  Her and Henry also owned the Skylark Hotel and Bar until 1987.  Afterwards Lynn then pursued her love of helping people while working as a nursing assistant.

 

She loved looking for bargains, spending time at the beach, and researching her family tree.  Lynn was a loyal friend to so many and you always knew where you stood with her.  She left this world “her way”.

 

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland on Sunday, July 10th from 5-7 PM and on Monday from 8:30 to 9:30am. Rev. Michael Kloton will officiate.

Burial and committal prayers will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Drums, PA at 10:00 AM the following morning.
