Kathleen "Katie" Starruick

August 9, 1945 - August 14, 2018

Kathleen “Katie” Starruick 73 of Freeland passed away Tuesday at her home.
Born in Hazleton she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Carr) Ashman.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann’s Church.
Katie loved her grandchildren and family.
Before retiring she was and LPN for Hazleton General Hospital.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her Husband; Daniel 2013.
Surviving are her Daughters; Lynn and her husband Larry Falatko- Freeland and their children Justin and Jessica and Lisa Smalls and her husband Ken- Kingston. Brother; Billy Ashman and his wife Patsy-Pennsylvania. Sister; Annie Brogan and her husband Joe- Allentown. Aunt; Sarah Kennedy- New Jersey and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 11am in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann’s Church, 898 Centre St. Freeland.
Burial will follow in Mt. Laurel Cemetery, Hazleton.
Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10 to 11am.
