Katherine "Kay" Fritz

November 18, 1943 - August 9, 2018

Katherine “Kay” A. Fritz 74 of Freeland who passed away early Thursday morning at her home.
Born in Hazleton she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Kvasnak) Yencho.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Drums.
Kay received her master’s in teaching.
Before retiring she was a teacher for Hazleton Area School District.
Kay loved her garden, flowers, crocheting, and donating her crocheted hats and afghans for premature children.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents is her Infant Brother; Andrew and Sister; Mary Lou Deeb.
Surviving is her husband of 51 years Bob, Niece; Kim Deeb, and great nephews; Jason Deeb and Daulton Zschunke.
Friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday 10 am in Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 87 South Hunter Highway Drums.
Private viewing will be held.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
