Jean M. Moro

August 15, 1930 - August 23, 2022

Jean M. Moro 92 of West Hazleton a guest at Mt. City Nursing and Rehabilation, Hazleton passed away on Tuesday August 23, 2022 at Mt. City after a lengthy illness.
Born August 15, 1930 in Hazleton she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Schlack) Recklitis.
She was a member of the former Transfiguration Church and Holy Name of Jesus Parish, West Hazleton and she was a 1948 graduate of West Hazleton High School.
Jean was employed as a bookkeeper for the former Alto Trucking Company, Hazleton. Throughout the years Jean enjoyed fishing trips to Canada and area lakes, flower gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, picnics at state parks and playing the slots at the casinos.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband John in 1987. Sisters; Evelyn and Ruth Recklitis also preceded her in death.
Surviving are Sons; John J. Moro III and his wife Nancy- Wilton New Hampshire and Thomas D. Moro -West Hazleton. 2 grandchildren also survive.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday 10am in Holy Name of Jesus Parish 213 West Green St. West Hazleton.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
