Gordon E. Buchman Sr. 88 of Freeland who passed away Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.

Born in Weatherly he was the son of the late Clarence and Kathryn (Sauers) Buchman.

Before retiring he was a Mechanic for Fairway Motors and a trackman for Conrail.

He loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren, auto racing, and working on classic cars.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was Infant Daughter; Barbara. Brothers; Billy, Clarence, and Harry. Sister; Margaret also preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years the former Rosemary Corrigan. Sons; Lawrence and his wife Robyn and Gordon “Gordie” and his wife Tiffany. Daughters; Patricia “Trish” and her husband Ken and Sharon and her husband Tom. Sisters; Dorothy, Marlene, Bessie. 8 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call at the McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland on Wednesday from 5 to8 pm.

Graveside service will be celebrated on Thursday 11am in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Freeland.
