Francis Franklin “Pat” Petrichko, 89, of Upper Lehigh and most recently a guest at Fritzingertown Senior Living Community died November 7 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.  Born in Pond Creek on June 27, 1935, the son of the late John and Frances (Lupcho) Petrichko.

He was a member of Good Shepherd Church and an honorably discharged Air Force Veteran who served 1954-1957 while stationed at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa FL.  Pat enjoyed visiting Margaret, his devoted life partner, at Davis Manor; enjoyed warm weather, fishing, Myrtle Beach vacations, walks outside, attending church, trips to Florida, hand holding partner of Kara Sitch, buying lottery tickets and visits from Bunker the dog.

Before retiring he was employed by Triangle Cable Co. in New Brunswick, NJ; retired from Hazleton-St. Joseph Medical Center.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his beloved companion Margaret H. Sitch, John and George Sitch; sisters, Victoria Mitchell and Violet Hawk; brothers, Michael and Gabriel Petrichko, David Daubert.

Surviving are sister Sharon Wensko of Drums; family members Mark and Rosemarie Sitch, Jule Ann and Tom Yurish, Greg and Debbie Sitch, Donna Yanoski and John Pavuk, David and Renee Sitch and their children and grandchildren.

The family would like to express appreciation for the care provided by WB VA Medical Center, John Heinz TRU, Fritzingertown Senior Living Community and GWV PCU.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 16 at 10am at Good Shepherd Church, 87 South Hunter Highway, Drums.  Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9 – 10am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.  McNulty Funeral Home, 494 East Butler Dr., Freeland is in charge of arrangements.
