Daniel S.M. Chitswara “Orko, Chitzy, and Uncle Fool” 35 of Drifton who expired on March 7th , 2019 due to complications from Leukemia.
Dan was Born on March 17, 1983 to Edmund Chitswara, Drifton and Cecilia Chitswara, Freeland.
He was not Irish, but, Born with the luckiest eye color that melted every girls heart!
Daniel was the middle child to Brothers; Edmund Chitswara II-North Carolina, Paul Chitswara- Driifton and Sisters; Colette Bodner- Freeland, Chariss Chitswara- Jeddo.
He was known as Uncle Fool to his nieces; Emily Bodner, Vayda Heller, and Izabella Figueroa and Nephews Ray Chitswara and Koda Figueroa.
In the winter Dan enjoyed watching movies, searching for new songs to listen to, but, never forgetting his old classics, he also enjoyed drawing and snowboarding.
Summertime was always his favorite season never spending one day indoors.
Dan was always proud of the variety of plants he grew. With his tackle box and fishing pole in his trunk, he was ready to cast that pole anytime day or night. There wasn’t a path, he wouldn’t hike. He loved nature and his pets no matter how many times he was bitten.
Whether his family or friend, all would describe him as a fun-loving, laid back, free spirited, good hearted soul, that could not drive. From a young age he took a great interest in piercings and tattoos. He pierced half of Luzerne County and Tattooed the other half.
He was well known for his love of Graffiti until the police forced him into an early retirement. Resulting in having a career working at Hazleton Area Hauling as a Sanitation engineer.
Memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday from 9am to 12noon at the McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
