Christopher John Demko

Christopher John Demko 44 of Upper Lehigh who passed away Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.
Born in Wilkes Barre he was the son of Robert and Cyndi (Buchman) Gresh.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann’s Church, Freeland.
Christopher was a welder for Wyman Gordan- Mt. Top.
He was a graduate of Bishop Hafey high school and attended Penn State, Hazleton.
Chris was an avid Steelers fan who enjoyed spending time with his family especially during Christmas, hunting, cooking, his Akita dogs (his faithful companion Kodiak), riding his Harley Davidson with his wife Jennifer, and was a member of the Freeland American Legion post 473 as a son of a legionnaire.
Preceding him in death was his Brother; Albert and his Maternal grandfather; Albert Kenneth Buchman.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife of 20 years the former Jennifer Kmetz. Brother; Robert Gresh Jr. and his wife Jennifer- Wisconsin and Brian of Freeland. Maternal grandmother; Dolores Buchman- Upper Lehigh. Nieces and nephews; Erin, Ava, Ella, Stacey, Josh, Jake, Brandon, Emily also survive.
Funeral will be held Monday 9am from the McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland with Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish 898 Centre St. Freeland.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 5 to 8pm.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
