Charles K. Sheaman 89 of Freeland died Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.
Born in Upper Lehigh he was the son of the late George F. and Hazel L. (VanHorn) Sheaman.
Before retiring he was a Pennsylvania State Trooper for 25 years and an honorable discharged Army Medical Corps. veteran 1946 to 1947 as a surgical technician who was stationed in Yokohama Japan.
Funeral will be held Thursday 12:30pm from the McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland.
Burial will follow in Freeland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9pm and Thursday morning from 11:30 to 12:30pm.
Members of the VFW and American Legion will accord services at the cemetery.
