Charles E. Schellhamer

February 15, 1947 - April 23, 2017

Charles E. Schellhamer 70 of Freeland who passed away Sunday at Celtic Hospice.
Born in Hazleton he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Evans) Schellhamer.
Before retiring he was a 30 year meat processor for Citterios, Freeland.
He was an honorably discharge Army Sgt. who served in Germany and was a member of the VFW Post 5010 and American Legion Post 473.
Charles loved spending time with his one and only granddaughter Emilee.  
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents is his Wife the former Carolyn Amentler- 2010 and his brother David.
Surviving is his Daughter; Rachel Baxter- Freeland, Brothers- James and his wife Diane- Hazleton and William and his wife Peggy -Missouri. Granddaughter; Emilee, several nieces and nephews also surviving is his loyal companion; Snowball.
Memorial services will be celebrated Saturday 11am at McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 9 to 11am.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
