Charlene A. Hornick

November 19, 1964 - August 12, 2024

Charlene Ann Hornick 59 of Drifton passed away Monday August 12, 2024 at her home. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the former Sandra (Brosinski) Carey and the late Leo Voyda.

She loved gardening, being outdoors, and going for walks with her dog and granddogs. She had an admiration for hummingbirds and all wildlife. Her children shared her love and passions, and cherished doing everything together with her. When she wasn’t outdoors she was inside baking and doing crafts with her grandchildren. Charlene was an outspoken person and owned a room when she walked in it.

Preceding her in death in addition to her father was her Brother; James (Jimbo) Carey, and close friends Larry Palumbo and Ronald John Hornick Sr..

Surviving in addition to her mother was Son; Ronald John Hornick Jr.. Daughters; Cassandra Hornick, Candis Sims, and Samantha Reimiller. Brother; Michael Voyda. Sisters; Cherie Ann Carey and Bonny Carey Nicholas. Grandchildren; Christian Relnoso-Reyes, Wilton and Willow Rodriguez. Dog-son; Charlie and granddogs; Max, Lucy, Miley, and Ash.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.McNulty Funeral Home 494 East Butler Dr. Freeland is in charge of arrangements.
