Barbara Louise Kenvin 77 of Freeland who passed away Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton.
She was the daughter of the late Stanley B. Sr. and Elizabeth Mae (Vandergrift) Warner.
Barbara was a 1960 graduate and salutatorian of West Hazleton High School and a 1963 graduate of Hazleton General Hospital School of Nursing.
Before retiring she was an RN for the former St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Hazleton and a private duty nurse for the Ambassador of India Mr. Kirpicani.
She was a member of Freeland Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and member of the choir.
Barbara loved her grandsons, music, cooking, and reading. She was an Eastern Star and one of the founding members of the 4 H Club.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her Husband of 41 years Robert Hauze Kenvin – May 16, 2006 and Son; Robert Warner Kenvin- May 16, 2006.
Surviving is her Daughters; Barbie Kenvin and Rebecca Warren. Brother; Stanley B. Warner Jr. and his wife Joan. Sister; Ellen Ann Karpowich and her husband Joe. Grandsons; Grant and Blake Warren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be celebrated on Monday July 29, 11am in Freeland Presbyterian Church 625 Centre St. Freeland. With Rev. Glenn Hueholt officiating.
Friends may call at the McNulty Funeral Home Sunday July 28 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. and Monday at church from 10 to 11am.
Burial will follow in Freeland Cemetery.
