Agnes J. Wizda Budda

May 24, 1929 - October 30, 2018

Agnes J. “Wizda” Budda 89 of Freeland who passed away Tuesday at the Pavilion at St. Luke’s, Hazleton.
Born in Swamptown Jeddo she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Gaydos) Wizda.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann’s Church, Freeland and a 1947 graduate of Hazle Twp High School.
Before retiring she was a Seamstress for Freeland Sportswear and a grill master for Burger King when she was in her 70’s.
Agnes enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, reading, and driving her car after she received her license when she was in her 40’s.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband Clarence – February 23, 1999. Brother; John and Sisters; Mary, Margaret, Sue, Ann, and Elizabeth.
She is the last surviving member of the Immediate family.
Surviving is her Sons; David and his wife Maryann, Lawrence, and Martin and his wife Alice. Daughter; Sharon Yefchak. Grandchildren; David, Michael, Crystal, Soni, Kayla, Lawrence Thomas, Elaan, Natira, Martin, and Amanda. Several great grandchilden and a few nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call at the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann’s Church 898 Centre St. on Saturday from 9:15 to 10am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am in church.
Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Freeland.
